Hey there! My name is Reinis Lacis, and I’m a former basketball journalist from Latvia. Currently I’m the VP at the European Youth Basketball League, an analytics-based Assistant GM with the Latvian-Estonian League club Rigas Zelli and a Data and Video Analyst for the Latvia men’s under-16 basketball team.

This webpage is a portfolio of sorts where you can find links to my journalistic work from all kinds of different places, whether it’s in English or Latvian, on basketball history or current events.

My experience includes writing for FIBA at the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 and FIBA World Cup 2023, contributing to BasketNews.com and BBALLBREAKDOWN.com and participating in several other projects on basketball history.

Mostly I use this space to share my longer features or episodes of The Handle podcast, on which I interview former NBA and ABA players, coaches and other movers and shakers.
