Hey there! My name is Reinis Lacis, and I’m a basketball journalist from Latvia.

This webpage is a portfolio of sorts where you can find links to my work from all kinds of different places, whether it’s in English or Latvian, on basketball history or current events.

My experience includes writing for FIBA at the FIBA EuroBasket 2022, contributing to BBALLBREAKDOWN.com with analytical columns on the NBA and participating in several other projects.

I used to be a full-time sports journalist for Latvia’s largest news website Delfi.lv. Nowadays, I write the occasional long-form feature for MVP.lv, Latvia’s most popular paid subscription sports medium, and commentate basketball games on Latvian TV stations.

Mostly I use this space to share my longer features or episodes of The Handle podcast, on which I interview former NBA and ABA players, coaches and other movers and shakers.
